Boedo 5's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Porvenir the free kick. After 8 played minutes Boedo 5 got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Lluques. Silvano Lluques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio-César Falcioni having to interfere. El Porvenir's Julio-César Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save El Porvenir from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, El Porvenir's goalkeeper Julio-César Falcioni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Gau. Javier Acosta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Julio-César Falcioni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Julio-César Falcioni managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Boedo 5's Javier Acosta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio-César Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Arotza in the 29th minute of the match. Silvano Lluques in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio-César Falcioni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio-César Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Fernendo in the 37th minute of play. El Porvenir's Julio-César Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Fernendo in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Porvenir's zone, Silvano Lluques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. El Porvenir's Julio-César Falcioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save El Porvenir from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Arotza in the 45th minute of play forced El Porvenir's goalkeeper Julio-César Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicasio Theobald to strike the kick off in the second half. Boedo 5's Justo Gau got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
