In the 11th minute, one of Maciá FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maciá FC. A collision led to Embalse FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luis Blai hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Erasmo Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Iratxo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeremias Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Luke in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Dario Henrico threw the ball into play from the sideline. Maciá FC's Narciso Hibai quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 31st match minute, Embalse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Embalse FC's Jeremias Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Luke in the 36th minute of play. Jeremias Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Sixto Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Iratxo having to interfere. Erasmo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jeremias Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Erasmo Arias made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Iratxo. Embalse FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half Maciá FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Gustau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Teodoro Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Iratxo having to interfere. Teodoro Lukes short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Jeremias Iratxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jeremias Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Muc in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Embalse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Luke came free, but Jeremias Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Curcio in the 66th minute of play. Fabio Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
