Amancio Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Abelardo Gregory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espinillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grütly the free kick. The supporters of Grütly booed when Espinillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abelardo Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Gregory came free, but Victorino Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Mede hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Sugar in the 36th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Victorino Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Oro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Gregory got free with Victorino Osasun in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Victorino Osasun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abelardo Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Osasun having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Orlanda came free, but Victorino Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grütly's goalkeeper Victorino Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Llorian in the 89th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Victorino Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grütly's Victorino Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Sugar in the 94th minute of play. Espinillo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
