Spectators: 7327 (Terracing: 5497, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 145) Tulumba FC's Gabriel Boniel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Bernardino Martino could shoot a difficult shot in the 2nd minute, which Eusebio Ariando however easily saved by the left post. In the 10th minute Mario Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ermegildo Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Tulumba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. When Adolfo Damario fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Proyecto Blu XXI's protests and gave Adolfo Damario a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Proyecto Blu XXI got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Damario. 20 minutes into the match, Proyecto Blu XXI's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Boniel came free, but Ezequiel Berdaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tulumba FC's Eusebio Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Stanislao in the 24th minute of play. Benigno Koldo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Eusebio Ariando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Damario in the 28th minute. Gustavo Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Proyecto Blu XXI's Bernardino Martino made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Ariando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adolfo Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Eusebio Ariando made a huge save. Gabriel Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Stanislao was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Proyecto Blu XXI's zone, Gabriel Boniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Berdaitz came out of the goal and Gabriel Boniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ermegildo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tulumba FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Ariando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Tulumba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Martino came free, but Eusebio Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Ermegildo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Martino in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusebio Ariando saved Tulumba FC from getting behind. If Adolfo Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Boniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Berdaitz having to interfere. Bernardino Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tulumba FC's Eusebio Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Martino in the 95th minute of play. Tulumba FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
