Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florentino Santio kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Ensenada FC's Ernesto Donostia got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Mariano Lucado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético River Plate's Hilario Galeno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernesto Donostia, made in the 12th minute of the game. Mazarópi Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Frederico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mazarópi Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Frederico came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ensenada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Frederico couldn't finish the play. If Cristian Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazarópi Vasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Florentino Santio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ensenada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Santio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazarópi Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atlético River Plate's Mariano Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Silvestre Bilbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazarópi Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Mazarópi Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Santio in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lucado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Jesus Quintan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazarópi Vasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Florentino Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mazarópi Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Club Atlético River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Club Atlético River Plate getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Herminio Jerrold hit a great ball. Mazarópi Vasco came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Ensenada FC's Jesus Quintan. But to his dismay, Jesus Quintan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Mariano Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Bilbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Barea in the 84th minute of play forced Club Atlético River Plate's goalkeeper Mazarópi Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mazarópi Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Higinio Barea notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atlético River Plate's Mazarópi Vasco. Mazarópi Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Florentino Santio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazarópi Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ensenada FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético River Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
