In the 66th minute, Alpachiri AFC's Carmelo Savier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mazarópi Vasco. Mazarópi Vasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Wilfredo Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Club Atlético River Plate's attentive Hilario Galeno managed to snatch the ball when Guaberto Celino made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When the final whistle went the supporters of Alpachiri AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Atlético River Plate side.
