Silvestre Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Larpe made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Fabricio Seber sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Yapeyú FC's Julian Romero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciriaco Larpe. That made the score 0-8 after 89 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, one of Ferrocarril Escocia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferrocarril Escocia. Yapeyú FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
