The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mangrullo's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Bordat came free, but Antonio Román reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mangrullo's Antonio Román played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Bordat in the 11th minute of play. Ciriaco Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Constantino Daunte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Antonio Román was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Daunte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Mangrullo's Cornelio Tonete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Larpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ciriaco Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mauricio Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Antonio Román tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mangrullo defense, Constantino Daunte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Román. The Mangrullo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Román should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Daunte was the one to do the kick off. Ciriaco Larpe made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Julian Donzel sent off a good shot on target. Ferrocarril Escocia's Ciriaco Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Fraco in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Mangrullo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Donzel to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Larpe was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Cornelio Tonete capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cornelio Tonete really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 70 minutes into the match, Mangrullo's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Cordaro came free, but Antonio Román reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Mangrullo got a freekick which was hit by Julian Donzel. With a little luck, Ferrocarril Escocia's Ciriaco Larpe got control of the ball when Matias Cordairo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Román took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Larpe made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Matias Cordairo sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Generoso Guzman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferrocarril Escocia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Mauricio Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Antonio Román tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Iratze during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferrocarril Escocia's Agustin Bordat got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Generoso Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
