When Alberto Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bajastine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Peruxu couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Iraunkor hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Haritzeder. Alberto Peruxu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Criston. Godfredo Criston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ariel Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Teodoro Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Bajastine left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba.
