Banfield CBA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carmelo Tello 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Pascual Abascal from a close distance when the talented Saverio Sesuldo managed to make a qualified save. Banfield CBA's players were relieved. Tomas Guillen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, one of Banfield CBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Cerveceros FC's Pascual Abascal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saverio Sesuldo. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. Saverio Sesuldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Abascal went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Saverio Sesuldo managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Cerveceros FC's Pascual Abascal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute, Banfield CBA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernabe Fernandes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 33rd minute, Pascual Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saverio Sesuldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Abascal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernabe Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Sesuldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernabe Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Abascal in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pascual Abascal made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Sesuldo having to interfere. Banfield CBA's Saverio Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Abascal in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Banfield CBA booed when Cerveceros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerveceros FC's Bernabe Fernandes. But to his dismay, Bernabe Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Saverio Sesuldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Abascal's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Carmelo Tello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Sesuldo. Banfield CBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Tello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Carmelo Tello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Sesuldo having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cerveceros FC had played much better football throughout.
