Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Roque Illan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Corbett's Roque Illan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Fumatta FC's goalkeeper Florencio Giro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Illan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Gelmiro in the 7th minute of play forced Fumatta FC's goalkeeper Florencio Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Erasmo Eliu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fumatta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corbett the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roque Illan got free with Florencio Giro in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florencio Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Florencio Giro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Gelmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Giro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Gelmiro in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Chesus in the 19th minute of play forced Fumatta FC's goalkeeper Florencio Giro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Fumatta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Gelmiro came free, but Florencio Giro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Corbett getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emilio Chesus hit a great ball. With a little luck, Fumatta FC's Florencio Giro got control of the ball when Roque Illan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fumatta FC's Florencio Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Gelmiro in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Corbett booed when Fumatta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Corderun was the one to do the kick off. When Eustacio Corderun came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fumatta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Corderun couldn't finish the play. Corbett's Cipriano Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Corderun in the 55th minute of play. Florencio Giro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Corbett's Emilio Chesus. But to his dismay, Emilio Chesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 68th minute, Alejo Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Fumatta FC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Pero. Feliciano Pero hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Corbett's Emilio Chesus tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Corbett got a freekick which was hit by Roque Illan. In the 77th minute, Emilio Chesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Giro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 85 minutes of play, Corbett's Nicolas Gelmiro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Giro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mateo having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Corbett could leave the field as winners, despite Fumatta FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
