The supporters of San Lorenzo y LosRedo booed when Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th match minute, Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, San Lorenzo y LosRedo's Cayetano Harriet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beto Martini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Lorenzo y LosRedo reached it. Beto Martini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Javier Millrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Martini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. San Lorenzo y LosRedo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enrique Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Virgilio Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Clemencin having to interfere. Modesto Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Valente to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Cristofol kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Beto Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Millrick in the 70th minute of the match. Leon Ciceron hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Modesto Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo y LosRedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Beto Martini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo y LosRedo. When Leon Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the San Lorenzo y LosRedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Ciceron couldn't finish the play. San Lorenzo y LosRedo played a much better game than Galacticos and deserved their victory. The Galacticos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
