Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Modesto Jerrald kicked off to start the match. If Sixto Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvear's Sixto Valerio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Clemencin. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Edelmiro Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo y LosRedo's zone, Sixto Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Clemencin came out of the goal and Sixto Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Jerrald charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Jerrald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes San Lorenzo y LosRedo got a freekick which was hit by Amado Fernanco. In the 20th minute, Eustaquio Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Clemencin made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Sixto Valerio sent off a good shot on target. Edelmiro Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Clemencin having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Sixto Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Richie got free with Florentino Clemencin in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Florentino Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes San Lorenzo y LosRedo got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Savier. After having played for 44 minutes, Sixto Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvear's Edelmiro Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Valerio was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of San Lorenzo y LosRedo booed when Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Guerrero's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo y LosRedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. Tobias Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fabricio Iratzeder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cayetano Harriet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Estevez during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Modesto Jerrald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Iratzeder having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Valerio in the 64th minute of play forced San Lorenzo y LosRedo's goalkeeper Florentino Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Valerio took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Clemencin. Florentino Clemencin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Edelmiro Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Florentino Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sixto Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Iago got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edelmiro Richie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Valerio in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Clemencin saved San Lorenzo y LosRedo from getting behind. San Lorenzo y LosRedo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
