Ernesto Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Nacimiento AFC's Rigoberto Barto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Macerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bonpland AFC's Celestino Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ciceron in the 11th minute of play. Victorino Paulin made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rigoberto Barto immediately put the ball in play. Godofredo Millano had several of the Nacimiento AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Zeledon Gaxan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Godofredo Millano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Virgilio Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes Nacimiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ciceron. Godofredo Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zeledon Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Lander's late challenge caught a Bonpland AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Lander helped the player get up and apologised. Edgard Lander kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Godofredo Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonpland AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelito Putilin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Gaxan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Godofredo Millano in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeledon Gaxan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bonpland AFC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Nacimiento AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Fortun took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ernesto Fortun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Gaxan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Celestino Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Rito in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Millano got free with Zeledon Gaxan in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well done corner resulted in Virgilio Amor drilling the ball in to score 2-1 behind Nacimiento AFC's goalkeeper. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godofredo Millano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Gaxan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Millano's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Jimeno Rito scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celestino Macerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Barto in the 61st minute of play forced Bonpland AFC's goalkeeper Celestino Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Bonpland AFC's goalkeeper Celestino Macerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Ciceron. Rigoberto Barto charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Barto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Barto to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Nacimiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ciceron. If Godofredo Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelito Putilin might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelito Putilin ran back to his position shaking his head. Celestino Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Barto in the 77th minute of play. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Amor in the 79th minute of play. Edgard Lander got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bonpland AFC booed when Nacimiento AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Lander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelito Putilin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godofredo Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. After 90 played minutes Nacimiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Paulin. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Godofredo Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gaxan came out of the goal and Godofredo Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Bonpland AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
