The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Lartaun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Galacticos's Francisco Ugutz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Beto Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modesto Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Martini having to interfere. When Modesto Matai came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Vinyes SI fans jumped to their feet. In the 83rd minute, Enrique Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Galacticos defense, Modesto Matai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Martini. The Galacticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Martini should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Modesto Matai in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Martini saved Galacticos from getting behind. Beto Martini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Matai's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Lucas Furman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Beto Martini made a huge save. When Modesto Matai, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Beto Martini was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
