Claudio Hever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ciriaco Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Herauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Raimundo Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Cordarrel in the 44th minute of the match. Leandro Urbasa's late challenge caught a Suncho AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Urbasa helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Bermund was the one to do the kick off. Ciriaco Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Leguizamón in the 54th minute of play. Sergio Perutxo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fernan Cresenciano. After 64 minutes, Raimundo Bermund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suncho AFC and the Núñez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Suncho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Bermund to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Núñez FC's Aaron Napier got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 94th minute Santiago Toli suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 94 minutes, Jose Cordarrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Núñez FC and the Suncho AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Cordarrel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Suncho AFC's Cleto Goren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
