Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amador Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Patxi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Valiente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th match minute, Marquesado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Delfino to maneuver through the defense. If Amador Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Telmo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Armando Delfino sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Arturo Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Amador Patxi put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ambrosio Valiente. Pomona AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Sugar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes, Amador Patxi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Marquesado's Ambrosio Valiente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Arturo Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Patxi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marquesado's goalkeeper Ambrosio Valiente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Marquesado's Ambrosio Valiente got control of the ball when Amador Patxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Marquesado defense, Amador Patxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrosio Valiente. The Marquesado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Valiente should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Pomona AFC's Arturo Sugar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambrosio Valiente. Ambrosio Valiente yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Amador Patxi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Pomona AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pomona AFC's Arturo Sugar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ambrosio Valiente. That made the score 0-8 after 67 minutes of play. Arturo Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ambrosio Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Valiente came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pomona AFC's Amador Patxi. But to his dismay, Amador Patxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After having played for 75 minutes, Amador Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pomona AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Valiente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amador Patxi's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ambrosio Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Marquesado's Ambrosio Valiente got control of the ball when Amador Patxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Saverio Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marquesado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pomona AFC the free kick. Saverio Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
