Aurelio Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Humberto Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Haedo FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mariano Manny hit a great ball. Franz Corral hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Pänah Timahs short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Humberto Corderro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hector Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marcelino Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pänah Timah to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Haedo FC's Jonathan Tino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Beltran FC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Horado. Marcelino Iratzeder made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hector Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. Haedo FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Beltran FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clodoveo Gomez took the corner. After taking down the ball on Haedo FC's corner Clodoveo Gomez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelino Iratzeder quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Haedo FC's Bartolo Nel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Iratzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Corderro came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Beltran FC's Pänah Timah. But to his dismay, Pänah Timah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pänah Timah in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Alan Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haedo FC's Ciriaco Iztal was substituted for Gregorio Silvino. When Pänah Timah came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Beltran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pänah Timah couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Isidro Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pänah Timah came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Beltran FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pänah Timah couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Beltran FC booed when Haedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haedo FC made a substitution. Vinicio Pueblo replaced Vicente Caradaro. In the 91st minute, Ciriaco Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Pänah Timah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Corderro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
