Timoteo Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Darien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Luciano Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Columbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aguaribay's Timoteo Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Darien in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Norberto Procopio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguaribay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Aguaribay got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Procopio. 27 minutes into the game, Arsenal FC's Luciano Darien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Columbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st minute, Luciano Darien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Jaime Sol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Gaizko to make the kick off. Severo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Crescencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Freddy Kauldi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luciano Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Arsenal FC's Luciano Darien dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Aguaribay's Ciriaco Lope got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Luciano Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Columbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Frantzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Darien in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Aguaribay's Victorino Juvenal got a free kick in the 77th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Arsenal FC's Evelio Hulberto tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Freddy Kauldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Darien might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Columbo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Darien ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnaldo Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Severo Berenguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Santos Gaizko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Berenguer came out of the goal and Santos Gaizko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Vicente Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Frantzes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Columbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Arsenal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aguaribay throughout the match.
