Gabriel Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los herederos del futbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fermin Sanson was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentino de Quilmes's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Fermin Sanson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los herederos del futbol's Gabriel Corderro did a great save. Lisandro Ovando made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kiril Milanov sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Argentino de Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Esdras came free, but Lisandro Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Sal couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Los herederos del futbol got a freekick which was hit by Santos Abad. In the 42nd minute, Dario Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Fonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Argentino de Quilmes defense, Tino Gustaman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Ovando. The Argentino de Quilmes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Ovando should have stopped the shot. Kiril Milanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Sal in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Ovando saved Argentino de Quilmes from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Argentino de Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Kiril Milanov came free, but Lisandro Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Ovando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Sal went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Robustiano Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Argentino de Quilmes got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Txilar. Baldomiro Sal, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The attack was good, but when Baldomiro Sal in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Dario Beila was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Quilmes's Dario Beila got a free kick in the 78th minute. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Baldomiro Sal put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lisandro Ovando. Lisandro Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiril Milanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Corderro having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Kiril Milanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiril Milanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los herederos del futbol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
