The ball had pretty good speed, but Severo Berenguer firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Faustino Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Caetano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Severo Berenguer made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Soter to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Anselmo Argenis sped through Arsenal FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severo Berenguer. Benito Veremundo made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Evaristo Enekoitz. In the 58th minute, Anselmo Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Caetano struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Severo Berenguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RiverPlate. In the 61st minute, Aureliano Baleren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Evelio Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Hulberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Caetano in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Arsenal FC's Bernabe Soter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Remigio Normando. Remigio Normando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Anselmo Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Berenguer having to interfere.
