After 2 minutes, Israel Norino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Rosario Sur and the Cruzados del Norte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Israel Norino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Marcial Benat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mesut Demirci was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. If Angelino Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Marcial Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mesut Demirci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Joaquin Urre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzados del Norte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Rosario Sur the free kick. After 8 played minutes Cruzados del Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Urre. Cruzados del Norte FC's Mesut Demirci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Benat in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Benat in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mesut Demirci saved Cruzados del Norte FC from getting behind. Hilario Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th match minute, Cruzados del Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Urre to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Israel Norino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mesut Demirci skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Rosario Sur getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Angel Elodio hit a great ball. Cruzados del Norte FC's Jonathan Cordarius got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jonathan Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cruzados del Norte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Cordarius couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Cordarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Arruda having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Cordarius was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Marcial Benat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzados del Norte FC's Mesut Demirci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Jonathan Cordarius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzados del Norte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Cordarius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Argina Tellez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcial Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argina Tellez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cruzados del Norte FC's Mesut Demirci got control of the ball when Marcial Benat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidoro Uzuri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jonathan Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cruzados del Norte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Cordarius couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Isidoro Uzuri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruzados del Norte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Uzuri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Cordarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Cordarius took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Délio Arruda. Délio Arruda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Cruzados del Norte FC booed when Club Atletico Rosario Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Benats short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Mesut Demirci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cruzados del Norte FC had won after a very even match.
