Pichaihué AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Faron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, El Destilador F.C.'s Honorato Chano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaspar Bermudez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Eugenio Boni made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Faron. El Destilador F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Honorato Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaspar Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Pietro in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Pichaihué AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pichaihué AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fabio Burutzagi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pichaihué AFC defense, Honorato Chano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Bermudez. The Pichaihué AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Bermudez should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Abalos got free with Jorge Faron in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Ellande in the 40th minute of play forced El Destilador F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Faron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Bermudez having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Pichaihué AFC's Marcos Ellande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Faron. That made the score 2-2 after 43 minutes of play. Honorato Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gaspar Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Honorato Chano made the kick off in the second half. El Destilador F.C.'s Jorge Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Abalos in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pichaihué AFC's Eugenio Boni got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Marcos Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Faron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Chano got the audiences attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 98th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Many of El Destilador F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. El Destilador F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Pichaihué AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
