When Fabio Burutzagi fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pichaihué AFC's protests and gave Fabio Burutzagi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pichaihué AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabio Burutzagi hit a great ball. If Hilario Magdaleno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Délio Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Iker Soter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Délio Arruda. Club Atletico Rosario Sur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Benat to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Marcos Ellande recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Délio Arruda. Marcos Ellande showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 56th minute, Marcos Ellande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Rosario Sur's zone, Guaberto Abalos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
