But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Abalos couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Moises Montae put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gaspar Bermudez. A collision led to Pichaihué AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marcos Ellande hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Ulf Nordstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enigma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Nordstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Moises Montae ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Bermudez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 15th minute, Joaquin Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Bermudez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Guillem's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Ulf Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gaspar Bermudez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enigma FC. In the 22nd minute Adrian Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Otoniel in the 24th minute of play. Fricson Juarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Enigma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Pichaihué AFC's Marciano Kaxen got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pichaihué AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrian Guillem was slow to take the kick. During this time Enigma FC's players had a chance to rest. 63 minutes into the match, Enigma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Abalos came free, but Fricson Juarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fricson Juarez came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Pichaihué AFC's Guaberto Abalos. But to his dismay, Guaberto Abalos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 73rd minute, Guaberto Abalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pichaihué AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 77th minute Eugenio Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fricson Juarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Montae in the 78th minute of the match. When Guaberto Abalos came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Pichaihué AFC fans jumped to their feet. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
