Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malota FC's Angelino Camerino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Malota FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Dino to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Candido Dino could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Elvio Firme however easily saved by the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Severiano Gaitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 minutes, Simon Erramun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malota FC and the General Roca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernan Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Hilario Guilabertus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Roca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Malota FC's zone, Rene Orlondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Gaitano came out of the goal and Rene Orlondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, General Roca's Elvio Firme got control of the ball when Candido Dino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Malota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Orlondo came free, but Severiano Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Gaitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Severiano Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Gabriel Donio in the 42nd minute really tested Elvio Firme's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pitoy Martínez de Aldunate to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Malota FC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Dino. Severiano Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Orlondo in the 53rd minute of play. Malota FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Hilario Guilabertus scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Gaitano, making the score, 0-3. In the 62nd minute Candido Dino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Estebe during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelino Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Elvio Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malota FC's Angelino Camerino got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Angelino Camerino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Firme. General Roca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Camerino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Dino in the 96th minute of play forced General Roca's goalkeeper Elvio Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. General Roca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
