Braulio Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gaspar Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Jonathan Cordarius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzados del Norte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 36 minutes, Joaquin Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzados del Norte FC and the Pichaihué AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Marcos Ellande made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marcos Ellande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mesut Demirci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Braulio Jurgi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gaspar Bermudez made a huge save. Jonathan Cordarius struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gaspar Bermudez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzados del Norte FC. After 61 minutes of play Cruzados del Norte FC's Joaquin Urre was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cruzados del Norte FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Joaquin Urre hit a great ball. The supporters of Cruzados del Norte FC booed when Pichaihué AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Bermudez came out of the goal and Isidoro Uzuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Pichaihué AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Ellande. Guaberto Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Braulio Jurgi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gaspar Bermudez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Isidoro Uzuri came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Cruzados del Norte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Uzuri couldn't finish the play. Marcos Ellande kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Guaberto Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mesut Demirci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Jurgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Bermudez having to interfere. If Isidoro Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Cruzados del Norte FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pichaihué AFC.
