Candido Dino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Chap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Simon Erramun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malota FC and the MIJAID players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Malota FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Erramun. Cecilio Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malota FC's Severiano Gaitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Castulo in the 20th minute of play. Eulalio Savier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Chap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Camerino in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Castulo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Gaitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Braulio Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Severiano Gaitano made a huge save. MIJAID's Pedro Chap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Dino in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cecilio Castulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Blas Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Chap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Malota FC's zone, Cecilio Castulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Gaitano came out of the goal and Cecilio Castulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Denis Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Severiano Gaitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Malota FC defense, Braulio Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Gaitano. The Malota FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Gaitano should have stopped the shot. Braulio Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Gaitano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MIJAID's Eulalio Savier got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, MIJAID's goalkeeper Pedro Chap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Dino. If Braulio Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MIJAID's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
