The wind increased when Marcos Ellande made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Pichaihué AFC's protests and gave Eugenio Boni a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of General Roca booed when Pichaihué AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. General Roca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
