Spectators: 7348 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnoldo Theodore started the match with the kick off. LaButteler's Marciano Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Presebal in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes LaButteler got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Salomone. Elvio Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Diaz having to interfere. Marciano Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Presebal's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes, Edgard deconinck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Muñiz and the LaButteler players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Deportivo Muñiz got a freekick which was hit by Edgard deconinck. Bernardino Tabby charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Bernardino Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Diaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Edgard deconinck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Diaz having to make a save. If Elvio Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan von Egidy scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Diaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Frank Krasa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LaButteler's Marciano Diaz. Marciano Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marciano Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Presebal in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard deconinck to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Kajetan von Egidy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Diaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Presebal in the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Deportivo Muñiz booed when LaButteler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Kajetan von Egidy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marciano Diaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elvio Presebal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Marciano Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Muñiz. Deportivo Muñiz's Eriberto Mel was substituted for Bruno Vermudo. Anibal Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Deportivo Muñiz got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan von Egidy. In the 88th minute of the match Santiago Bilintx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quinto Pagès showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. LaButteler's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Frank Krasa scored to the left of an out of position Marciano Diaz, making the score, 0-5. Elvio Presebal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Marciano Diaz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Deportivo Muñiz played a much better game than LaButteler and deserved their victory. The LaButteler players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
