Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacobo Asier kicked off to start the match. Elvio Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Edgard deconinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frank Krasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Los Andes's Jacobo Asier got a free kick in the 7th minute. Elvio Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Elvio Presebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Leopoldo Gitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Club Atlético Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Urtats to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Elvio Presebal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Gitano. Club Atlético Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elvio Presebal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kajetan von Egidy struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Leopoldo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Muñiz. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Los Andes's Severiano Jusepe got a free kick in the 21st minute. Leopoldo Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard deconinck in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Jacobo Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinto Pagès saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edgard deconinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Los Andes's Leopoldo Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajetan von Egidy in the 31st minute of play. Leopoldo Gitano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard deconinck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Los Andes's zone, Frank Krasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Gitano came out of the goal and Frank Krasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Los Andes's Leopoldo Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard deconinck in the 43rd minute of play. Leopoldo Gitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan von Egidy went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The attack was good, but when Edgard deconinck in the 48th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard deconinck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elvio Presebal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Gitano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Kajetan von Egidy charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kajetan von Egidy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Gitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvio Presebal's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Severiano Jusepe was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. If Elvio Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard deconinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Los Andes defense, Elvio Presebal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Gitano. The Club Atlético Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Gitano should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Muñiz made a substitution. Constantino Esquipula replaced Edgard deconinck. Romeo Bertol kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Constantino Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Muñiz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Esquipula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Daniel Pirro had to leave the field with a concussion. After 97 minutes, Jacobo Asier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Los Andes and the Deportivo Muñiz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacobo Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
