But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Haimar couldn't finish the play. Santos Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Fulgencio Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Termogalacticos FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Prejun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fidel Fernados short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Pablo Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alonzo Foro hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zeledon Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Santana in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Omar Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santos Gar came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pichanas AFC fans jumped to their feet. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Omar Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Prejun having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Haimar in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Valente saved Pichanas AFC from getting behind. Pablo Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Haimar in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the game Fidel Fernado made a throw-in which Alonzo Foro played forward.
