Ramiro Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Malvin having to interfere. In the 18th minute Mateo Hernando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Paez hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Rolando Platon's late challenge caught a Ogilvie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Platon helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Tauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zeledon Prejun made a huge save. Ramiro Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Ramiro Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enzo Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Haimar was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Ogilvie's Enzo Guter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Prejun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Termogalacticos FC booed when Ogilvie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogilvie's goalkeeper Alberto Malvin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Fernado during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Guter couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Termogalacticos FC's Rolando Platon got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Enzo Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Prejun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Enzo Guter came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ogilvie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Guter couldn't finish the play. Termogalacticos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
