The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to CUBA FENIX Reloaded getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. After 23 minutes of play, C A CALVARIE's Eduardo Carvalhais made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Johans was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 26 minutes, Ulises Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C A CALVARIE and the CUBA FENIX Reloaded players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Domeka hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Apolo Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot. CUBA FENIX Reloaded's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Sayvion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes C A CALVARIE got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Carvalhais. In the 31st minute, Apolo Sayvion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Sauveur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 39 played minutes CUBA FENIX Reloaded got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Llorenc. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Sayvion was the one to do the kick off. When Apolo Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the CUBA FENIX Reloaded fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Sayvion couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Rego in the 53rd minute of play forced CUBA FENIX Reloaded's goalkeeper Silverio Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, CUBA FENIX Reloaded was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Elija to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Apolo Sayvion came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the CUBA FENIX Reloaded fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Sayvion couldn't finish the play. Apolo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Maxin might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silverio Johans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Maxin ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, C A CALVARIE's Domingos Tipi got a free kick in the 81st minute. Victorino Sauveur came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by CUBA FENIX Reloaded's Apolo Sayvion. But to his dismay, Apolo Sayvion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Carvalhais during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CUBA FENIX Reloaded booed when C A CALVARIE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Carvalhais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Sayvion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Victorino Sauveur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind CUBA FENIX Reloaded's goalkeeper Silverio Johans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CUBA FENIX Reloaded played a much better game than C A CALVARIE and deserved their victory. The C A CALVARIE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
