Nunez Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Sanduru in the 9th minute of play. Marcelino Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Monico having to interfere. In the 12th minute Carolo Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Paublo in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Paublo came free, but Nunez Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Paublo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Coiruro's goalkeeper Cristo Garikoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Cidro. Marcelino Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coiruro's Cristo Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Duardo in the 35th minute of play. Ivan Normando's late challenge caught a Cafayate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Normando helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Coiruro got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Normando.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Mouricio made a kick off. Cristo Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ramiro Duardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristo Garikoitz having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Moises Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafayate's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Garikoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Monico having to interfere. The supporters of Coiruro booed when Cafayate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Monico made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ruben Sanduru sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Coiruro's Marcelino Paublo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nunez Monico. Nunez Monico yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. If Moises Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Coiruro's Ruben Sanduru got a free kick in the 88th minute. Cristo Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Nemesio Cidro might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Garikoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Cidro ran back to his position shaking his head. Moises Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Garikoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coiruro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
