After having played for 10 minutes, Ildefonso Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEXA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clodoveo Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Marin in the 11th minute of the match. Fernando Rainerio charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Rainerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, LEXA FC's Fernando Rainerio got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Ildefonso Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, Cortamambo's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Marin came free, but Clodoveo Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Flor having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, LEXA FC's Braulio Quinteros tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Isidoro Walme had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Gergori during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christian Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Fabricio Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Rainerio got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fernando Rainerio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Casimiro Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Ildefonso Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Quinteros hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Erauso was the one to do the kick off. Ildefonso Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Fabricio Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Flor. Cortamambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabricio Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cortamambo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Ildefonso Bastiaro scored to the left of an out of position Clodoveo Flor, making the score, 0-3. Braulio Quinteros's late challenge caught a Cortamambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LEXA FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Braulio Quinteros hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Cortamambo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LEXA FC:s goal. Casimiro Erauso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Clodoveo Flor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ildefonso Bastiaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Flor having to interfere. The supporters of Cortamambo booed when LEXA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Erauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Clodoveo Flor made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Casimiro Erauso fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clodoveo Flor, passed just outside the right post. Ildefonso Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Clodoveo Flor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LEXA FC. LEXA FC's Casimiro Erauso got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Flor made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Casimiro Erauso sent off a good shot on target. The Cortamambo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LEXA FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
