The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulises Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Carvalhais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Flor having to interfere. With a little luck, Cortamambo's Clodoveo Flor got control of the ball when Eduardo Carvalhais tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Eduardo Carvalhais dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clodoveo Flor, 2-0. 30 minutes into the game, Eduardo Carvalhais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C A CALVARIE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortamambo the free kick. A collision led to C A CALVARIE getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eduardo Carvalhais hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play, Cortamambo's Christian Gergori made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Sauveur was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, C A CALVARIE's Amadeo Conrao got a free kick in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Adan Quexal could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Clodoveo Flor however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute C A CALVARIE were awarded a corner. Amadeo Conrao went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led C A CALVARIE's Amadeo Conrao to fire away a dangerous shot which Clodoveo Flor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Sabino Rego managed to get in a good position for a shot. C A CALVARIE's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Rego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Quexal in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Domingos Tipi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C A CALVARIE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sabino Rego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Flor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Cortamambo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hermengildo Ihintza hit a great ball. Benjamin Ado kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. C A CALVARIE's Sabino Rego got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabino Rego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ulises Domeka fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C A CALVARIE's protests and gave Ulises Domeka a yellow card for diving instead. After 81 played minutes C A CALVARIE got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Domeka. During the 85th minute of the match Ulises Domeka completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ulises Domeka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 86 played minutes C A CALVARIE got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Domeka. When Adan Quexal came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the C A CALVARIE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Quexal couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Cortamambo got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Abeita. Amadeo Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C A CALVARIE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cortamambo for a fine match.
