Cortamambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurício Correia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lucio Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Maurício Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Lobos FC were awarded a corner. Manuel Chuse went to the cornerflag to take it. With his leg Benito Romelio managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Cortamambo's Christian Gergori fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Clodoveo Flor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Correia went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Maurício Correia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Flor. A collision led to Lobos FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Desiderio Santos hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurício Correia in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobos FC's Maurício Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucio Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Christian Gergori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos FC's Benito Romelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortamambo's goalkeeper Clodoveo Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurício Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Sixto Orti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Orti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Gergori hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A hard shot 79 in the game by Maurício Correia from a close distance when the talented Clodoveo Flor managed to make a qualified save. Cortamambo's players were relieved. After having played for 81 minutes, Maurício Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurício Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maurício Correia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 85 minutes into the match, Cortamambo's goalkeeper Clodoveo Flor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurício Correia. The supporters of Cortamambo booed when Lobos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cortamambo's Clodoveo Flor got control of the ball when Maurício Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Lobos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cortamambo throughout the match.
