Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juli Cerda in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Chinto saved Profundidad from getting behind. Ruben Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Chinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joachim Månsson went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonel Chinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miroslaw Bejgier went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 16 minutes, Nereo Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Profundidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Profundidad's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Cerda came free, but Leonel Chinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Profundidad's Leonel Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Månsson in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Miroslaw Bejgier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonel Chinto was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Profundidad's Leonel Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Bejgier in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Juli Cerda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Miami's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juli Cerda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Musko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maximino Egoitz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Musko was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Juli Cerda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Joachim Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Juli Cerda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Chinto. Profundidad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juli Cerda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Cresenciano Sobrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juli Cerda scored 0-6 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Chinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute Juli Cerda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Chinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Musko in the 68th minute of play forced Inter Miami's goalkeeper Cresenciano Sobrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Månsson scored 0-7 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Chinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Joachim Månsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Leonel Chinto to make any attempt to save it. Joachim Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Leonel Chinto made a huge save. Leonel Chinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Månsson in the 81st minute. Leonel Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juli Cerda, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Joachim Månsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leonel Chinto made a huge save. Juli Cerda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Leonel Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Gatev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Chinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Inter Miami left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Profundidad.
