In the 9th match minute, Sportivo Camello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Firmo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Perutxo in the 22nd minute of play forced Sportivo Camello's goalkeeper Eustaquio Balasi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ricardo Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Camello's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Inge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sportivo Camello's Emiliano Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Savion in the 34th minute of play. Emiliano Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristobal Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Ricardo Savion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Inge. Coni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Savion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Ignacio Steven put in a rough tackle. Eustaquio Balasi had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Mendez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Quirce to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Herminio Elodio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristobal Inge, 1-4. Ulises Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Elodio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. If Herminio Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adrian Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sportivo Camello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Atarratze couldn't finish the play.
