Abelardo Incendio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 30 minutes into the game, Abelardo Incendio lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Gilberto Ignado. Tadeo Gentza charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Gentza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MDQ FC's Tadeo Gentza got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Abelardo Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Larrea fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Incendio to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Larrea's zone, Fulgencio Maureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Lano came out of the goal and Fulgencio Maureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Maureo in the 82nd minute of play forced Larrea's goalkeeper Enrique Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Larrea's goalkeeper Enrique Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Blai. After 87 played minutes, Larrea's Fernan Egoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilberto Ignado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Larrea reached it. The supporters of Larrea booed when MDQ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Larrea fans cheered their team off the field, for while MDQ FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
