The supporters of Godoy booed when Larrea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes, Abelardo Incendio made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Godoy's Ricardo Canor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Silvio Goito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Canor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ricardo Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lano having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Jacobo Bikendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Bikendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Sendoa in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Godoy's Norberto Kismi got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Silvio Goito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Canor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Faustino Txurio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Silvio Goito notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Godoy's Ricardo Canor. Ricardo Canor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 64 minutes, Anastasio Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larrea and the Godoy players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Larrea's Enrique Lano got control of the ball when Ricardo Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jacobo Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Godoy's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Incendio came free, but Ricardo Canor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Incendio in the 76th minute of play forced Godoy's goalkeeper Ricardo Canor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Norberto Kismi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Godoy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Kismi couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ricardo Sendoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Sendoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute of the match, Norberto Kismi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Enrique Lano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Godoy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Larrea.
