The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Benedicto Quintun fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Oeste Rock & Club's protests and gave Benedicto Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. Benedicto Quintun hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Atilano Chap might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Lon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Chap ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, El Oeste Rock & Club's Arnulfo Lon got control of the ball when Atilano Chap tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Lon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Elias Sabin made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Froilan Guillelmo immediately put the ball in play. 11 minutes into the game, Atilano Chap cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnulfo Lon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Elias Sabin fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Oeste Rock & Club's protests and gave Elias Sabin a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes El Oeste Rock & Club got a freekick which was hit by Elias Sabin. In the 19th minute, Belgrano's Atilano Chap dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Atilano Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, El Oeste Rock & Club's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Chap came free, but Arnulfo Lon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Chap had several of the El Oeste Rock & Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Arnulfo Lon as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Belgrano getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ricardo Berdoi hit a great ball. Esteve Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Lon came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano's Atilano Chap. But to his dismay, Atilano Chap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.

If Esteve Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belgrano's Vicente Pereyra got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Vicente Pereyra off the ground. The supporters of El Oeste Rock & Club booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Nazario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Lon having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Melchor Nazario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. El Oeste Rock & Club's Esteve Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Berdoi's late challenge caught a El Oeste Rock & Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Berdoi helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 minutes, Clemente Herensuge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano and the El Oeste Rock & Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Esteve Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Oeste Rock & Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Jerano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Belgrano fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Oeste Rock & Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
