Leonel Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Ruisko in the 11th minute of the match. Santiago Ruisko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Magno de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Guipuzkoa's late challenge caught a Los Santos de Nuñez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Guipuzkoa helped the player get up and apologised. Andres Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Recife struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Ruisko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81st match minute, Nacho´s FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Micael to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Harriet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 87 minutes into the match, Los Santos de Nuñez's Aquilino Cayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Harriet narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
