When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Nacimiento's Maximiliano Natal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Augusto Harriet. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santiago Ruisko to make the kick off. Augusto Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Estevez in the 51st minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Abelardo Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacho´s FC's Augusto Harriet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nacimiento's Ubaldo Txeru got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abelardo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Valente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 89th playminute. Abelardo Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Harriet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacho´s FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
