Cristo Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Atilano Chap who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Santos de Nuñez's Leonel Iago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Adrio in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristo Guillem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atilano Chap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute Atilano Chap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Pereyra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Chap in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Santos de Nuñez's goalkeeper Leonel Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Los Santos de Nuñez's Froilan Adrio made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Chap stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Atilano Chap came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilano Chap couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Vicente Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, Los Santos de Nuñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Guifre to maneuver through the defense. When Los Santos de Nuñez's Froilan Adrio in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgrano's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Pereyra hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Froilan Adrio put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristo Guillem. 80 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Magno de Salles came free, but Cristo Guillem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Atilano Chap dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Iago, 4-4. Leonel Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Chap in the 88th minute of play. When Atilano Chap came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Belgrano fans jumped to their feet.
