Ladislao Lico started the match with the kick off. Denis Abreu stood somewhat misplaced when Xulián Amezqueta came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. Odilón De la Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arsenio Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xulián Amezqueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Naike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colipulli's Denis Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colipulli from getting a goal against them. Xulián Amezqueta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Denis Abreu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Torrente's Odilón De la Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Lico in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Xulián Amezqueta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Lico in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odilón De la Barra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xulián Amezqueta in the 45th minute. Denis Abreu had great luck who in the 47thth minute grab hold of the ball when Xulián Amezqueta from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xulián Amezqueta to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Xulián Amezqueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colipulli's Denis Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torrente made a substitution. Octavio Silban replaced Damian Dan. In the 65th match minute, Torrente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. When Ciriaco Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Colipulli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Castulo couldn't finish the play. Xulián Amezqueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Xulián Amezqueta came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Torrente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xulián Amezqueta couldn't finish the play. Denis Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xulián Amezqueta went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Torrente's Samuel Unax was substituted for Xulián Amezqueta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Unax in the 86th minute of play forced Colipulli's goalkeeper Denis Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Abreu having to interfere. The supporters of Torrente booed when Colipulli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Enmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Octavio Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torrente's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
