Saul Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Toco y me voy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Enrique Suero scored to the left of an out of position Saul Venceslao, making the score, 1-0. Toco y me voy's Cristo Reynardo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Toco y me voy booed when Potrero Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Cloyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Potrero Futbol Club defense, Segundo Hanot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingo Veremundo. The Potrero Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingo Veremundo should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Vítor da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Vítor da Silva notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Potrero Futbol Club's Domingo Veremundo. Domingo Veremundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Potrero Futbol Club's Enrique Suero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saul Venceslao. That made the score 2-2 after 37 minutes of play. Enrique Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Venceslao having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Blas Bernabel notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Toco y me voy's Saul Venceslao. Saul Venceslao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Suero made a kick off. Potrero Futbol Club's Domingo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Hanot in the 52nd minute of play. Conrado Xacintu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Blas Bernabel took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Venceslao. Saul Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The supporters of Potrero Futbol Club booed when Toco y me voy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toco y me voy's Saul Venceslao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Suero in the 63rd minute of play. Saul Venceslao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero Futbol Club. After 88 minutes, Cristo Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toco y me voy and the Potrero Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristo Reynardo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Segundo Hanot put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Veremundo. Saul Venceslao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Urdaspal went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Toco y me voy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Potrero Futbol Club.
