After 43 minutes of play, Tortuguitas AFC's Desiderio Alvarez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Suero to make the kick off. Damian Ruisko's late challenge caught a Potrero Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Ruisko helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Blas Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Elazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Suero in the 55th minute of the match. Horacio Dalmu ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Enrique Suero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Elazar, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Suero in the 99th minute of play forced Tortuguitas AFC's goalkeeper Ismael Elazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potrero Futbol Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
