Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5497, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 70) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeronimo Asteri took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jeronimo Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Veremundo having to interfere. Denis Romero took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Veremundo. Domingo Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jeronimo Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Veremundo having to interfere. Denis Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Jeronimo Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Corea Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Romero to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Suero scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Gergori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Gaudencio Gartzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Gergori was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enrique Suero. Blas Bernabel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcos Gergori made a huge save. Corea Grande's Leonardo Txilar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Asteri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Veremundo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Leonardo Txilar struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Domingo Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corea Grande. Jeronimo Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Veremundo having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Potrero Futbol Club's goalkeeper Domingo Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Asteri. 61 minutes into the match, Potrero Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Txilar came free, but Domingo Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Potrero Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Xacintu. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ricardo Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Primeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Gergori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Enrique Suero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Gergori. Corea Grande's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Suero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Suero in the 78th minute of play forced Corea Grande's goalkeeper Marcos Gergori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Veremundo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Corea Grande's Jeronimo Asteri. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Asteri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The long shot by Severiano Cordeiro in the 90th minute really tested Domingo Veremundo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the referee ended the match the Potrero Futbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
